Yuzu Crush

Very thinly sliced 100% organically grown yuzu peel. The dried peel, which tastes like a combination of tangerine, grapefruit, Meyer lemon and lime, is intense with a bitter edge. Traditionally used in some Japanese soup broths, use it in dry spice mixes or for making syrups.

Use these very thin yet powerfully flavorful citrus strips in marinades, seafood, and dessert preparations.

Kagura no Sato is located in Shiroma, a small village surrounded by mountains in Miyazaki Prefecture. They have been growing yuzu for 50 years, mostly organically and they harvest only at the peak of ripeness. Because their orchards are at a high altitude, the fruit has a stronger aroma, higher acidity, and sugar content than yuzu grown at lower altitudes.
