Umeboshi (lightly salted)

Fukami, founded in 1940, is a 3rd generation umeboshi plum producer. They were the first in the world to win the Monde Selection award for their umeboshi, subsequently winning the award five years in a row. They use the highest quality Kishu Nankou plums sourced Wakayama Prefecture to make umeboshi with the utmost care and commitment to organic cultivation.

Bright and tangy, the lightly salted umeboshi is mouthwatering with a balance of salinity and fruit.

Use with sticky rice to make onigiri, umeboshi also can be used in salad dressings, in chicken meatballs, or to season seafood.
